A Summer Weekend Treat: Whipped Ricotta with Prosciutto, Pistachios, and Honey

Craving something light but flavorful? There’s nothing better than a final touch of drizzled Hot Honey, with the tasteful marks of sweet fresh herbs and prosciutto. This dish perfectly captures the essence of summer: fresh, simple, and delightful. 

Ingredients: (1 serving)

2 tbsp ricotta cheese

½ tbsp honey (honey pouch or honey)

¾ tbsp finely chopped chives (about 2 full chive stems)

A handful of fresh herbs (basil, thyme, oregano)

4-5 slices of prosciutto

1 tbsp crushed pistachios

Freshly ground black pepper and sea salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Whip the ricotta with honey, chives, and fresh herbs until smooth.

  2. Spread the mixture on the bread of choice, then arrange prosciutto, and sprinkle with pistachios and basil.

  3. Drizzle with 2 hot honey sticks and add black pepper and/or sea salt, if desired.

Serve with a side salad topped with Honey and Fig Balsamic Salad Dressing, and enjoy!
