Grilled Hot Honey Teriyaki Chicken
Ingredients:
1-1 ½ chicken breasts
⅓ cup soy sauce
2 ½ tbsp Stonewall Kitchen Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Sauce
3 tbsp hot water
3 tbsp Hot Honey TEA-ser
1 garlic clove, diced
1 tbsp cornstarch
To garnish:
sesame seeds
green onions
feta cheese
Hot Honey TEA-ser
Directions:
In a medium-sized bowl combine sesame ginger teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and garlic. In a small bowl dissolve 2 tbsp of Hon’s Hot Honey in 2 tbsp of hot water. Add honey mixture to the large bowl. Place 6-8 chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour over marinade mix. Let marinate for 2-3 hours.
Heat grill to 400 F. Separate chicken from marinade mix, and put marinade mix in a small bowl. Add cornstarch and stir. Pour marinade into a saucepan. Add 1 tbsp of hot honey dissolved in 1 tbsp of hot water. Bring to a low simmer, stirring often, and remove from heat when thickened.
Place chicken on the grill, and brush the marinade mix on each side of the chicken. Grill one side for 6-7 minutes and flip for 8-10 minutes. Time may vary based on the size of chicken breast.
Remove chicken from the grill and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, feta cheese, and drizzle hot honey for an added kick! Enjoy!
